The Q4MAX team have now reached version 0.75 - and are the first Quake 4 mod to include FreezeTag.
The team has included both of the most popular styles of FreezeTag:
European style: Teams are completely reset after a point is scored, and players are reset to full health with just the basic weapons.
US style: The scoring team is not reset after a point is scored, adn keep their weapons and powerups between points. Players spawn in with most weapons, and some ammo for each weapon.
